Social Responsibility

Women empowerment through provision of more employment is one of the main social objectives of Ramanah Greens. More than 80% of our employees are women over 30 years of age from the surrounding rural areas.

We also provide accommodation facilities within the premises for those who have migrated far with their families. We ensure children of those families attend school and not enter our production facilities as we at Ramanah Greens strongly oppose child labour. More recently, we have also initiated a program to encourage women self-help groups in the local community to engage in creative exploitation of our eco-friendly product. We supply the fibres free of cost for use in their coir ornaments. We help them market their creations and ensure they reap the benefits.
